    Gosh Clover!
There are lots of moles around near where DD2 lives. One year their lawn looked like yours. SIL was not impressed. Then a heron came and ate lots of their fish
There are disadvantages to country living!

Oh no what a mess they make , we have lots on the perimeter road but never had them in the garden ,
Well not in ours as under the Astro turf its concrete but neighbours haven't so they seem to keep to one area
They say the soil is good what they leave on top though
Im not fat just 6ft too small

What a nuisance clover. That's something we've never had trouble with.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Yes Oma the soil is good for seed sewing. We had them a long time ago then they stopped.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

We have such hard clay soil that no mole is ever going to dig in our garden!!

We get them in the allotments, Clover. I don’t mind, they’ve got to live somewhere, but it’s a bit frustrating when the plough through a row of seedlings.

What a nuisance. How do you get rid of them?

Nana, I think you have to put up a sign saying Moles Unwelcome Here

I’ve tried everything, moth balls, windmill s,water but to no avail.I’d rather they were in the grass ( can’t call it a lawn! ) than in the borders as they can tunnel under plants leaving the roots dangling in thin air and you don’t know until the plants start to die off.

Clover you are having a rough ride at the minute. Gem I don't think the sign would work as they can't see very well.😉 Hope they leave your garden soon Clover without doing too much damage.

You can get a mole catcher to come and get rid of them, but they don't capture them alive.
