That's right Daisy, I have never been to India.

Two American partners Plant, not 3! One hardly counts, a guy from NY I went out with for a while at college. Very nice, but I suspect he was gay )

Daisy, is it the dog? If I had a liitle dog I would love to call him Gyp, like Doras dog in David Copperfield.

Lordy, Lordy it's getting harder to keep up with this thread. I find myself telling two lies in one post

Nana - Tut-tut, two lies, you have no shame!!! (I am only kidding xx)

Gem - you're right about the dog. Gyp was my third dog. The first one was called Bob, but thanks for reminding me about Gyp in David Copperfield - I'd forgotten.

Gem - I know you hate sport, and I think you love olives, so is the lie the middle names?

              I can't rollerskate.

              I love fairground rides.

Sorry, Gem, I'm like a big kid at a fairground, and love Disney parks etc.

I would go with roller skating Daisy. I'd agree with the marmite too.

In a school sewing lesson I sewed up the arm hole in a blouse I made.
My domestic science teacher set her eyebrows alight.
I couldn't do the Eskimo roll in my canoe.

                        Sorry - not the rollerskating. It's true I can't!

So I confess, I'm not a list maker. A half-hearted shopping list on the fridge is the best it gets.

Nana - I don't think your dom sci teacher set her eyebrows alight, although I bet if she did the class has never forgotten it!!

Gem - you've never travelled business class?

Daisy, no, I have travelled business class! (Just the once. My ex husband worked a lot with the travel trade, and when went to New York for our 25th anniversary, they upgraded us to Business Class, as a gift. Lovely! They also brought us champagne and announced us over the tannoy )
Therefore the helicopter is my lie. The very idea terrifies me!

Daisy I love making lists so imagine everyone else does!

Nana, I will guess the domestic science teacher too.

Nope, sorry. A girl couldn't get the cooker to work. She told teacher who asked her if she'd had the gas on. She struck a match & boom! Eyebrows, eyelashes front of her hair, the lot.

Oh Nana - what an awful thing to happen, but it could have been much worse. I remember our Science teacher setting fire to a bench once and she was running round trying to throw water at it while yelling at us girls not to panic!

Sorry I shouldn't laugh, so why am I? Must have a weird sense of humour. You've not guessed my lie yet.
