A small shop selling interesting things would be my choice.

Favourite herbs - Basil. I've usually got a pot of it on the window sill.
Favourite spice - garam masala. It rescues all my "don't know what I'm making and don't feel like cooking" moments.
Favourite way of cooking/eating potatoes?
