Get rid of your old pound coins!

These will cease to be legal tender tomorrow. Don't panic however if you have any. I read that several major retailers had agreed to accept them for a slightly longer period, as there are so many still about. I had one in my change yesterday (and spent it again!)

Iv'e got 3 in the cupboard. Quite a few shops are going to accept them for a time.

Don't worry - even if the shops won't accept the old coins, you can always get them changed at a bank - if you can find one these days! LOL
