Bank transfers

We sent some money by bank transfer this morning to a friend,

Not reading our contact lists properly , we managed to send it to a different friend entirely,

This friend rang and asked why we were transferring money to her?
We were both confused till it dawned on me what we had done,
She transferred it back and we had a good giggle about it.

I'm pleased she checks her bank every morning or we would have had no idea where it had gone.

Just shows how easy it can be done.

It wouldn't have arrived at the right place and caused endless confusion!

I'm nervous of paying the wrong person so tend to double check.

On a slightly different note, OH often phones or messages the wrong person. Our heating engineer has the same first name as SIL2. He's told her more than once he knows nothing about boilers
