How do you pay?

I do online banking, I don’t use my credit card very much just make sure there is enough in my current A/C to pay for things. I hate writing cheques so do mainly bank transfer. I have the same with a series of numbers, nearly always get it wrong the first time.

Sum, I totally understand about numbers. I find it hard to read a string of numbers. I have to point at them one by one, like a child learning to read. It's embarrassing if anyone is watching. When OH and I were first married and he worked in a bank, he would have been sacked on the spot if we'd gone overdrawn on our joint account. It was scary at the end of the month, but the habit of staying 'in the black' has stayed with us.
