    Halloween is coming!

Halloween falls on a Thursday this year, the day I have little GS3.
I have bought him a Halloween top (with Peppa Pig on, from Vinted) and we will answer the door together to early little trick or treaters. His top says Trick or Treat, so it will be a very cute scenario

Then when GS3 has gone home we are going out for tea. Our friends H and C were thinking of having a Halloween party which I of course was keen to go to. However C's GC who she hoped would come aren't. The two teenagers were not interested and the 6 year old has some Halloween plans already. No kids wouldn't stop me having a party but she didn't really want to without them. So, we are still going there for tea, and it may be a bit Halloween based, but not a party!

OH, the grinch of Halloween is glad

Gem, as you know I tend to be with your OH on Hallowe'en. Although I do usually do trick or treat. The system in our road is that those willing to be visited put a lantern or pumpkin in their front garden and that works very well. But last year our pumpkin collapsed when we put it outside so OH had to eat a whole load of goodies!

It’s the same here , they only knock where there are pumpkins out,
Our door is lit up like the Blackpool Tower so no one misses us 🀣

Only knock around here if a pumpkin or other decoration is lit up outside too.

Gem, we are a pair of Halloween grinches.
Just can't see the point of it for one day.

Used to love Hallowe'en as a child when it was all innocent fun, long before the Americanisation of it took over!

DDs house is well known in their village it’s a sight to behold , she still gets dressed up to answer the door, even the cats and the dog have outfits 😁
I love to see the children and a lot of the parents dress up also.

I think I like Halloween better than Christmas πŸ˜πŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒ
