Halloween 2022

It was nice to see families out this Halloween with no restrictions. Things were not so good a year ago, and we left our trick or treat goodies outside to minimise contact for the past two years.

I decorated my window and had a black cat and witches broom in the hallway. Pumpkin and witches hat lit up on the doorstep.
We had a lot of families with two or three children knocking at the door from around 5. All dressed up and all polite (if some had to be reminded by mum or dad )

All the sweeties were gone by 6.30, so we brought everything in!

Yesterday we had family Halloween tea

We didn’t have as many as we thought this year , Having said that the ones we had were very polite and some lovely costumes .
We left all the bunting lights and pumpkins out till 8 then brought everything in as it looked like no one else was coming .
Its forecast rain at 9pm so they all in and way now

One little one knocked on the door he can’t have been more than 3, his Mammy was at the end of the drive ,
Hesaid Hello my names George and I’ve come to scare you Trick or treat 😂
He was so cute he went away with a very heavy pumpkin pail full of sweets , I just couldn’t resist spoiling him 😂😂😂
