We love pancakes but rarely make them so Shrove Tuesday is a good excuse to have some

We will have some Gem. I make a pile and keep them in the freezer.
Still got a few from the last lot i made.

We do the same , B makes a good batch and we freeze them then we can have them whenever we fancy them ,
Gem we put none stick paper in between them so they don't stick together when in freezer xx

I'm not very good at making pancakes, but I do love them with just traditional sugar and lemon juice on them.

My mother used to make really nice ones, and the first one was always for the dog!

Yes, that first one is never right. I used to love making them for my children when they came in from school. Sugar and lemon for us too Daisy.

I took the easy way out & had supermarket one's last year & they were very tasty. Less greasy too.

Dutch pancakes are a meal!!! I am never keen but took the girls a few months ago to a pancake restaurant close to us, I actually enjoyed my (huge) pancake! One half was with bacon and the other cheese and mushrooms. When we were all away for the weekend in November DIL made so many pancakes, they all went as well.
