    Happy St George's Day

Today is St George's Day, and Shakespeare would have been celebrating his 451st birthday.

Do you think we should celebrate St George's Day, in the same way that other parts of the UK celebrate their Saints' days?

We celebrate anyway, because it is also DS2's birthday - and today he's reached the 40-milestone. So Happy Birthday, dear son.

If you put St George's Day into the Glitter Graphics search box you will find pages and pages or images for …… St Patrick's Day!!!

Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Yes Daisy we should celebrate and should be a Public Holiday too.

Be careful when blindly following the Masses.
    Sometimes the 'M' is silent.

Yes, we should celebrate St George's day, and be proud to be English.
