    No thanks, I full!

GS2, aged 3 went on his first trick or treating outing last night with his mum and 10 year old sister.
They went to some houses in the village. After the first 3, GS said to everyone. when offered sweets 'No thanks, I full. Just Happy Halloween!'
As he is an incredibly cute 3 year old, you can imagine people's reaction DD said they all said 'Oh well you wont be full tomorrow, save these for another time!' and popped sweets into his basket.
Life is sweet and simple when you are a 3 year old

Gem - what a delightful little boy your GS2 is. I bet he melted everyone's heart, bless him.

I posted on our Road's FB group to say how lovely and polite all the children were, even the slightly older ones who didn't have adults with them.

Oh Bless him that is so lovely ,
we had little ones till about 6pm then a couple of extremely polite and chatty 13/14 yr olds about 7pm but none after that

We had one young girl when I opened the door the sitting room door was open and she said " Oh I love your sitting room "
Her friend looked at her oddly and said " that's a random statement !!! " we were in fits , it was a random statement she was right hahaha

We had one girl in a group of about 6 who mentioned she had a trick. She offered me this tin of what looked like green slimy worms, so I put my hand in and brought out a little packet of sweets. She was delighted/amazed because I was the first one who had done it!

OH gave me a strange look though.
