Easter gifts

I know it’s long time off but DD and I bought some clothes for g/ d for her build a bear we bought her at Christmas as their was a sale on rather buy something else than chocolate , I usually buy dils an egg or chocolate from Hotel Chocolat and the men a bottle of red wine which they are both partial to, not sure what to get twins they are not chocolate fans that much. Do you buy for just g/c or for family, we usually have them here for Easter lunch and put their gifts on the table , usually trim up a bit but we are away this Easter, what do you do about Easter gifts etc

I tend to give J money hes not a big Chocolate eater and he's too old so he told me
The two little ones its either a toy or a bar of chocolate and money , usually a toy as I think they get enough chocolate from other people

I stopped buying them when mine were young. I ended up making rice crispy cakes for a school fete as the eggs were hanging around weeks later. I tend to buy a book token and take the boys in to Birmingham to spend them.

Nothing!! GS will get an egg, if that's what he'd like, otherwise money or a voucher. Have never bought gifts for adults and don't intend to start now! Scrooge that I am!

My eldest DGSs would think I had fallen out with them if I didn't buy them an egg even though they are ranged from 21-26 !! the two younger ones 14 & 16 are not bothered so they will get gift vouchers and can spend as they like.
For little GGD Ihave bought a pair of pink bunnie ears and cute pink and white tights with frills on the bottom as she will have all sorts from extended family and I don't want DGS2 upset with me if she is poorly with chocolate so am playing safe.
My own two sons 42 & 36 always expect a Terrys Chocolate Orange and have had one for years the girls all get a box of choc's each from Thorntons they all get the same so no one can complain.

Nothing here either. GCs will get a cheapo egg each and some cash. That’s it.

I must admit i still buy Easter eggs.Both of mine get one,plus their girlfriends.

Eldest GD and her partner will get one each and some money.
The youngest will get an egg and money as well.
Woe betide if hubby doesn't get an egg.

I usually buy an Easter egg each for OH, mum, my sister and the 3 GC.
I get the GC small eggs and usually a soft toy and other Easter tat to go with it

This year GS1 is getting a trip to Build A Bear with me for his Easter present. GD got the same when she was 5 and I have always promised him I would take him at 5.
GD knows and I offered to buy her something other than an egg too. She never ever asks you for anything though so it's hard to know what to get!

We only ever bought eggs for our children then later for GC, but only whilst they were little. Then when DGS was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 9 they just used to get one egg and a book or some cash to buy something small. Never bought big gifts and not for adult children or each other. Just think it all gets a bit too much sometimes.

Just sent my sister flowers for her birthday next week and it is my DD birthday next week too. I don't buy Easter eggs now, my youngest GS is nearly 17.

Just bought g/s a t shirt for Easter with the nine planets on he is obsessed with the solar system knows every planet and what is on them all what the temps are , for goodness sake he’s 3!!! That’s dad s nurturing !

I but each gs an egg. I used to but the Dss and DILs but don’t bother now we have the little ones.

I used to buy our GS's Easter eggs, a small toy and a new outfit when they were little. New outfits for Easter don't seem to have the same significance these days!

I usually buy the GCs a small egg, but with 3 of them being gluten-free there was very little choice, so we give them money instead.

I always had a new outfit for Easter when I was little, Daisy. I’d forgotten about that, I can remember going on the train to Southampton to go to C & A and it was always my Sunday outfit.
