    Easter plans?

Are you going away or doing anything different over the Easter weekend?

My DD3 and family are away for Easter and DD2 and co are busy Sunday and Monday. We are having a family gathering here on the Saturday, minus DD3 etc.
I don't think I will cook, maybe a buffet? Undecided as yet .

We do have a Simnel bar cake which I bought from Ringtons, so that will be on the table if nothing else 😁

We have no other Easter plans at the moment.

It's hard to plan anything at the moment, but we probably wouldn't do much over the Easter week-end. DIL1 and GSs are going away on the 22nd and it's DS2's 50th birthday on the 23rd, so we will probably do something to celebrate the following week-end. Quite honestly, going out over a Bank Holiday doesn't appeal much anyway. Everywhere is so crowded - I think I'm becoming anti-social.

I love Simnel cake - but nobody else in the family likes it.

      No I don't think you're antisocial Daisy.
I think most of us feel the same about battling bank holiday traffic and crowds.
It's only a family gathering I would do over that weekend really. For several years DD2 held a family and friends day with egg hunt etc which was fun.

Gem, I'm glad I'm not the only one, then! When our DSs were young we always used to do lots over Easter - either travelling up to North Wales to see family, having people to stay, or later, when they started sailing it was always the start of the sailing season. So always much looked forward to and very busy.

          Nothing planned here so far,
We may meet for breakfast but I'm not fussed to be honest.

It was different when the children were small, now they do their own thing.
Im not fat just 6ft too small
