    Easter Gifts

Easter this year is not greatly different from last year's lockdown and many of us can't see loved one and may not have seen them for over a year.

But all we can do is look for the positives, and today I have two reasons to celebrate!

We have new neighbours next door - they are still working on the house and renting further along the road, but we are getting to know them through chats over the garden fence and they seem a lovely couple.

They have a little Sprocker dog (cross Springer and Cocker Spaniels) who is very friendly, and her mum asked if I fancied walking the dogs together. I explained the Eva becomes a naughty child out on a lead, but the neighbour is still willing to walk with us. So this morning we went for a walk just round the block. Eva calmed down quite quickly and the two dogs walked well, mostly not taking a lot of notice of each other. I am so delighted. It's something I've been longing to do with Eva for 5 years, and hopefully we're getting there. We've booked another walk for Tuesday.

The second celebration is the first tomato seed has germinated! This sounds very unexciting, I know, but I've had a run of years with one problem after another growing seeds and it's early days, but hopefully this tiny healthy-looking seedling will be followed by lots of other seedlings in the days to come.

Strange what makes us happy, isn't it!

    Easter blessings everyone. xx

      Good girl Eva.

a lovely day here, DD and DGD popped in for coffee this morning and Im going over there later for a meal. So nice to see GD....she has cut off all her hair! She had dreadlocks almost down to her waist so looks very different but it really suits her. It is still longish on top but very short at sides and back. She got fed up with it so chopped it all off. Her friend she shares a house with got out his hair clippers and finished it off and made a really good job.

its lovely here in the sunshine but still chilly in the shade. Lovely in the conservatory though, I went out there with my book and nodded off πŸ˜€

Hope you’re all having a good Easter 🐣πŸ₯
