I have bought or prepared Mothers Day lunch or tea for my mum for so many years Plant, I think DD wants me to have a turn!
Also as we are in a childcare bubble it's a nice excuse to actually spend some time together.

After me telling my girls not to buy me flowers, I have received a box of goodies! A slab of special dark chocolate, a box of delicious biscuits, two bottles of fancy cordial, a spray to waft over my pillows for a good night’s sleep and a pair of merino wool socks! I was thrilled.
      Naughty girls.😁

          Enjoy Grauntie, lovely treats

I have found out that I am very lucky to be seeing mum on Mother's Day! Their present visiting rules are one visitor in the home altogether in the morning or afternoon, each day, so only two on Mothers Day. I did hit reply as soon as I got the email about visiting opening and requested Mothers Day any time. There are several disappointed family members according to the manager. She then added that as we hadn't been able to see my mum on her birthday she was glad mum would see me on mothers Day. It would have been lovely to see her any day this week to be honest but I thought it would be more special for her if I went on Mother's Day.

Grauntie - how lovely to have so many lovely treats. xx

Gem - I do think you and your mum deserve your Mother's Day appointment - you've had so very little opportunity to see her for a whole year. I hope you both have a lovely, special time. xx
