My DS sent me a virtual bunch of flowers which was both a shock and a lovely surprise! One because he never remembers Mother's Day and two,it isn't celebrated in Slovakia until June! Beautiful flowers from DD and family, but no visit
I noticed our very elderly neighbour had visits from family today....and they didn't stay outside! Naughty!
Thank you Nanto for the flowers! Don't they smell lovely?Last edited by WeeGranny; 22-03-2020, 05:32 PM.Believe you can and you're halfway there.

Thank you for the lovely flowers, Nanto. xx
I got a card through the post from DS1, and a very nice chatty phone call.
DIL2 had had to go out yesterday and had got beautiful flowers for me and her own mum, then they read/heard that the virus can be transmitted on packaging, wrappers etc and decided it wasn't worth the risk. Poor DIL2, she doesn't "do" flowers, ever. If she gets given any she always passes them on to me or her own mum, and now she's lumbered with two huge bunches of beautiful, fresh tulips. I've been very naughty and suggested she takes a photo of them each day and sends it to me and her own mum!
