I sound a right old misery guts, sorry ladies! At hairdressers now and she is making me laugh. I am going to dress my tree and be Christmasy when I get home. OH better watch his step or he may be decorated. (I found a packet of beard bells πŸ˜†).

Beard bells GM Sound like fun. Never heard of them but I could have got some for DS1 I’ve already got him a beard comb.

I haven't actually seen anyone wearing beard bells, but I imagine they must be quite uncomfortable:

GM - You're not a misery guts - you've been poorly, but i'm gald the hairdresser has cheered you up a bit. I bet the tree looks fantastic, but am wondering whether OH got his beard bells or not!

Those are they Daisy! The only fly in the ointment is I trimmed his beard this week and I haven’t left it long enough to clip to.πŸ™„ Not enough hair left anywhere really...πŸ˜†

GM - this could be too much information for me so early in the day! LOL

Over the past few years the Christmas Spirit has been slow in arriving as the children are now so much older and the magic is just not there anymore, but this year will be so different as GGD is almost 2 yrs old and we have been able to buy all manner of kiddie presents and just can't wait to see her little eyes pop out of her head when she gets her big bag of goodies from Santa,(OH is dressing up to take her bag into her house from the car so I wonder if she will guess who it is ???

Some years ago my brother in law dressed as Santa and called to niece from the garden to her bedroom window. She was about 8 at the time. It did not go well. She took fright and had a hysterical screaming fit!

                    Whooops Zizi!!

I hope Glammas little GGD doesn't react in that way!
I'm sure it will be lovely to see her reaction to her presents, Glamma. Its so special to have little ones around at Christmas, isn't it?
We never see any of them open their presents, but at least we spend some of Christmas with them

I hope we all found our Christmas Spirit in time for the Day! For me it was lovely to be with some of the family and enjoy the day. Even though the GSs are long past believing in a kindly old chap in a red coat they still get into the spirit and this year spent ages patiently explaining the purpose and use of their complicated electronic gadgets! Sadly I'm none the wiser, but it's nice to spend the relaxed time with them.

Our little one is dressed as Elf today, lots of presents but will understand better next year.
