grandma2aj - you've got a complicated list of allergies to cope with! How awful that there's such a long waiting list for the dietician. As you say, it's a good job you know how to cope. We have one GS who is gluten- and dairy-free and 3 people who are gluten-free. My DS2 has developed all sorts of allergies over recent years - they aare still trying to find out why - but he just avoids the foods he knows will affect him.

I love Christmas cake and pudding and mincepies. I would feel terribly guilty if I bought mincepies, so I always make them.

Like Oma and Mimi I used to do everything from scratch for Christmas, but I haven't got the energy to stand doing all that baking these days, and there's no point if people don't want it anyway! We still don't know what we're doing for Christmas - if anything - so I'm not worrying about it.
