Mmmm doesn’t look like anything much there to make me feel excited. I think there will be a lot of watching stuff on computer!

I will watch Dr Who, Call The Midwife and Bake Off.
We are way behind with Victoria, so unless we have caught up by then, that will just be added to the recorded-to-watch pile.

              Me too Oma!
I buy one for my mum each week, called What's on TV, as it's like her Bible LOL. We only have one a year, the Christmas edition of the Radio Times.

I only buy a paper on a Saturday otherwise I read it on line, the Saturday paper has a TV guide and that is what we use. Sometimes we sit here and I will say too him “what rubbish is on tonight”and he will say “rubbish”. I like Call the Midwife but I don’t like Dr Who at all, I have caught up with Victoria but not that interested really. The soaps are daft at christmas and I don’t really know what is going on during the rest of the year with them so I stand no chance at Christmas! Hopefully there will be some nice musicals on which I really enjoy but I suspect there will be a lot of James Bond and Harry Potter neither of which I am interested in. Oh well, it will be cooking, reading, puzzling etc.

Zizi, we say exactly the same.... re the rubbish. We end up recording films etc and watch them. We both like Call the Midwife, Bake-off but otherwise will just see what’s on at the time and make our pick (or not) then. I suspect a few DVDs might be watched over the Christmas period.

Well I suppose I am being ungrateful as we will be away at our posh hotel Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day morning so probably not going to be watching much TV. The hotel has about ten acres of ground to walk around so after breakfast on Christmas Day we can have a wander. Do you remember when they used to have those children in hospital programmes on Christmas morning? I used to be blubbering all over the place.

Cannot remember now but they were on both main sides and other than that there were usually church services on. I didn’t mind the church services but if I want to do it I would rather go in person than see it on the TV.

I stock up on Puzzle books at Christmas Zizi , I don't watch any soaps but do like Call the Midwife , Mrs Browns boys , don't like Dr Who , I like a good laugh so any good comedy will do me and him fine ,
I don't even mind a religious film like Moses etc although I'm not religious ,
No doubt we will be channel hopping as usual and as we have the biggest satellite dish in the world that picks up hundreds of rubbish programmes , I will be bored and loss my temper as I hate the blooming thing .
By the time you find anything remotely interesting its half way through

I just don’t find a lot of the stuff on TV funny any more and hve never liked Mrs. Browns boys. Maybe I am getting old and boring.

Its an acquired taste Zizi , we have seen all their stage shows live and laughed our heads off but they are near the knuckle a lot more than on TV ,
