I have run out of serviettes and have been obliged to do this. These are the odds and s*ds in the drawer. Please forgive me in the name of thrift

Am I the only one that uses cloth napkins ? years ago I bought polycotton table cloths and they came with a set of these , I gave up on them , but found OH went through about 40paper ones day minimum and then the cloth ones came out , they do seem to grab the drips better , they get a good wash and come up great , no I don't iron them and the washing machine is on every day anyway . I have posh linen ones that never see the light of day

Aggie, we have linen napkins and white ceramic napkin rings with a bird on the top of each. These come out when we have a group of friends round for meal, a few times a year. For every day though we use kitchen roll, and at Christmas, seasonal paper napkins.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Aggie - yes, me, I've got some 'proper' ones, and I do use them sometimes. It depends whether or not I think I can get round to washing and ironing them afterwards, or, more often, because we've got visitors and I've run out of paper ones!
GM - they're brilliant. but you should have got the £50 ones!!! No expense spared at GM's.
