    Christmas in July?

OH's brother and wife called in today, to collect some old photos to show a distant Australian relative who is over here for a couple of weeks.
They delivered our Christmas presents from their 2 DDs, OHs nieces! These were left with them last Christmas to give to us (Her brother and wife only live 15 miles away from us!!) This is the latest Christmas present I have received! Obviously we have never thanked the nieces as this is the first we knew of them!
Also, GS1 chose a Christmas DVD to watch this afternoon

Christmas is certainly in the air at your house Gem.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

One of the presents was a box of Thorntons chocolates, best before the end of March so we are having to eat them very quickly!!

Very strange not to deliver the presents when they live so close Gemini.

They are strange Plant! Also are the ones who live in a Mansion with acres of land as they didn't choose to honour the mothers verbal wish that the land from the family plant nursery was equally divided between OH and brother ( sadly written will says otherwise, and their mum died suddenly ) We are the poor relations!

            Very greedy uncaring people.

So different to my OH, Plant, who could never keep anything she didn't feel she was fully entitled to.

We like to think we are happier in our modest semi, with our cats, frequently filled with friends and family. They must rattle around, the two of them in that huge house in the middle of nowhere, their family all living in London.

Gem, as you might guess, I hesitated before opening this post! LOL

Yes, I'm quite sure you and OH are happier with your lives filled with family, friends and kitties. And karma has ways of evening things out one way or another.
