It does seem as though everyone had a happy time. We really enjoyed our meal out on Christmas Day and then flopped! Boxing Day was a treat with all the family around and everyone happy and children very pleased with their gifts. All in all a very enjoyable Christmas in our new home.

Thank you Zizi , he's being a challenge at the minute I all but put the tablets in his mouth and I still have to nag him to remember them and take them , what is it with men and tablets you would think I was feeding him Arsenic 😠😊

Oma - my OH likes to be cared for like a small child when he's ill - I think most men are like that, so tablet taking is way beyond him unless you stand over them and pop them into his mouth.

Husband takes tablets for blood pressure and a couple of other things plus of course his eye drops which he detests. He does take them all though sometimes I need to remind him, and he does do his eyes although often Mrs Nag of the Century, as he calls me sometimes, has to mention EYES and then he remembers to get the drops out of the fridge. His tablets are morning and his eyes are evening, nothing like the regime you are following with B. Husband always makes a particular moaning sound when putting the eye drops in especially now they are stronger and sting a lot, this is usually followed by "I hate doing this" but after 17 years you would think he would be used to it (albeit having not to do it for about seven years after an operation). He knows that the drops are important and are the sliver of hope between him seeing and going blind so I think the moaning is just a habit. I love the old moaning fella but don't tell him that!!

Oh just one more thing, there is a Meerkat advert on 5USA Channel where they are singing the "Let it go" song from Frozen and husband will not let me sing it. He is such a spoilsport.
