    Christmas Card

Thank you so much for the lovely Christmas card. Sorry I have not been around much recently but I have popped in from time to time but not commented.
A million things going on not least of which is DS1 is coming back from NZ on an extended visit - at least six months maybe longer, bringing his partner and my GS who I have only seen on Face Time.
We are in the process of trying to find them a rented house and furnishing it on a shoestring. I am discovering FB selling site and freecycle sites and asking friends if they have any bits of furniture they no longer need. It is a big project but I am so looking forward to March 5th when they arrive.
Wishing all GRUs a really wonderful Christmas and a Peaceful, Prosperous and Healthy New Year.

Gosh, BL, what a terrific start to Spring this is going to be I'm so pleased for you.

I've got some furniture we no longer need but I may be too far away from you and the cost of transporting it too dear???

I have a coffee table, a wardrobe, a dining table a pine bookcase, a leather recliner, and probably more! It's all in good condition. I'm near Lincoln, so??? Just get in touch if you feel you would like any of these items.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes for the forthcoming visit. It is very exciting and I am also a little apprehensive as I don't want to get anything wrong. I know DS1 would like to extend the stay and is trying to get my DiL a five year visa in the hope she will agree. If things go well she may agree to stay. Can't wait to get my hands on my new GS 😄 Oh Elisi I wished you lived nearer as I would say yes to all of those items but driving from Kent wouldn't be realistic sadly ☚ī¸

Such a pity BL. Never mind. Love Kent, lived there as a youngster.
