I feel a little Granny boast coming on! GD1's Nativity play went very well, according to her mummy and daddy. She lead the cast onto the stage and did her narrative in a good, clear, loud voice. Word perfect.

Yesterday was her school Christmas Party so they went in party clothes which she loved. Last night just before bed, her daddy asked her if she enjoyed the party and she replied that she'd been to two parties that day. Each class chooses 3 of its members as their role models each term and the elected 3 get to have tea, cakes etc with the Headmistress. Until then GD2 hadn't mentioned that she was one of the 'chosen three'!

Today of course, down to earth with a bang. I just happened to be in DS2's shop when school phoned to say she had been sick and could someone go and collect her! Poor little mite was as white as a sheet and very upset that she had been sick. So she's now not allowed back to school tomorrow and will miss the last morning.

Daisy, no wonder you are proud of your lovely girl
What a pity that she's poorly and will miss her last morning though. Hopefully Christmas fast approaching will help to soften the blow and take her mind off it.
