What do you have with Christmas pudding?

We were talking about Christmas pudding today, and which sauces go with it.

My auntie said she had always had brandy sauce. OH and I said we both had home made rum sauce growing up. We now have brandy sauce, but only because that is what is available in shops. We would prefer rum (but not enough to actually make it )

Some people like cream, brandy butter or custard.

I love Christmas pud , I'm not keen on brandy butter though.

We usually have custard made with Birds Custard Powder. I like brandy butter, but nobody else does.
