    December socialising!

It is just me or does everyone's diary suddenly fill up for December?

It's been a real juggling act to fit everything in, and that's with the GRU one being postponed.

2 friends coming for lunch on 4th.
Friend M coming for coffee and mince pie on 6th
Golf dinner for OH on 7th (this one doesn't include me)
Sunday lunch out with auntie G on 10th
Lunch out with 2 friends on 11th
Lunch out with a friend on 13th
Evening meal out with OH and a group of friends on 17th
Lunch out with 2 friends on 18th
Visiting friend T on either 16th or 19th (waiting to hear which suits him)
School carols for GS2 on 20th
Panto and tea out with family on 23rd

Are you exhausted reading all that??!!

I find December a bit of a rush with things ,
We have Storm for a couple days tomorrow and Wednesday was supposed to be most of the week but change of plans with DD we will have him again Friday and Saturday ,
Bs cousin is coming over so there will be days out with her , thankfully it doesn’t fall all on our backs his Sisters will take a turn ,
We have a lunch with friends planned and afternoon Christmas tea for us girls I hope
I have my haircut and coloured on the 14th
I know there’s something around the 17th but I can’t remember off the top of my head I will have to look at the calendar.

Oma I would be lost without my calendar. I would never be anywhere on the right day!

Wow, Gem, what a social whirl you have.

Our social life doesn't get that well-organised. I am meeting with College friends for lunch on Thursday. That's about it at the moment.

I'd rather just take it as it comes Daisy, but I seem to have so much to fit in around my regular commitments I'm having to be ultra organised!
To that list we also need to add visiting my sister, date to be decided.

Gem, when you add in your child minding as well, that's pretty formidable. I hope you don't overdo things and make your knee painful, though. xx

I won't Daisy. When you think about it most of it is just sitting around eating 😁
There's only one meal we are hosting, for 4 of us, so not too taxing!

Oma, same here. If it isn't on the kitchen calendar it doesn't happen!

My calendar is my lifeline too. The family use their phones as a calendar.

We have a joint wall calendar and a diary each which we synchronise weekly.
Younger generations generally use phones these days.

I use my phone, try to keep it in my head though as often as I can!

You have always been ahead of me with technology Lizzie! I remember you having an mp3 player before I even knew what one was!
