Lizzie, I hope your GD2 is ok for tomorrow, but glad everything else went well.

Glamm, I suppose your ex-DIL could make it hard for your DS to see his daughter at all if she had a mind to. An hour and a half isn't much, but at least you got to spend that time with her and I'm sure she loved seeing you. I do hope your poorly GS is soon on the mend.

We put away some of the chocolates etc for later, but sometimes we forget and find them months later! For some reason we seem to have a lot of Terry's dark chocolate oranges. Fortunately (although not good for our waistlines) we both love them.

So nice to hear all about your Christmases.

Ive had two lovely days with DD and family. Christmas Day I went over there at 12, just as DGD arrived. So good to see her again. We enjoyed a lovely dinner, DD did really well with GD in charge of potatoes and gravy as planned. We had a lazy afternoon, playing a very good new game u til DS’ girlfriend arrived at 6 then it was Secret Santa time. Everyone did very well with their present, so success all round. We were all still really full from dinner so we played. Ore games until a late supper and I went home at 11. I didn’t sleep well as I had indigestion, no surprise there, ut it was worth it.

Boxing Day and I went over to DDs again, but later at about 3. Lots of chat, more games, and tea at 6. DGD was leaving at 7.30 so I had a lift home with her…only over the road but saved me a walk in the dark.

Ive had two lazy days since then and took down the tree etc today. I can’t bear it being up once Boxing Day has gone so all clean and tidy again.
