    Christmas TV

    What have you been watching?

We watch the soaps - full of Festive joy

We also have enjoyed Call The Midwife, All Creatures Great and Small, The Larkins, some Christmas quiz editions and Home Alone.
I have recorded Die Hard which have actually never seen. GS2 and I watched The Snowman when he was here before Christmas. There are other things on the planner including Strictly yet to be watched.

    I don’t watch soaps or Strictly ,
we did watch Call the midwives , Larkins ,All Creatures , Not going out Christmas special ,all things we enjoy ,
Watched Elf , My Fair Lady , The Grinch , A Christmas Carol the original one and the one with Whoopie Goldberg in and several other .

I personally think the Christmas TV has been exceptionally poor this year , bad programs and all repeats . Looking through the TV Times it’s the same all the way to new year too
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Yes, I agree Oma, there was nothing that wowed us when we read through the Christmas Radio Times.

I watched Home Alone 3, and another film (can't even remember what it was, but it might come back to me). I saw part of the Not Going Out Christmas Special and shall watch it properly on catch up. I watched the first episode A Very British Scandal and have recorded the other two episodes. I missed Call the Midwife, but will watch that on catch up. Watched Death in Paradise, The Repair Shop at Christmas (a repeat)

OH watches soaps but I don't. I agree with Oma - nothing very different or fresh, mostly the same old same old ...

This morning we watched Christmas Bake Off. It had some of the cast of It's a Sin as contestants.

I watched the 20 year anniversary Making of Harry Potter film this afternoon. It was on Sky last night.Really good for Potter fans. I enjoyed it very much.

OH and have I watched A Very British Scandal (how shocking that must have been in 1963!)

I watched The Girl Before. OH didn't watch in case it was spooky, which it wasn't.

I've watched the first episode of A Very British Scandal and recorded the other two to watch when I feel like a lazy couple of hours.

The last few days we've been watching re-runs of Gavin and Stacey. We'd seen most of the first Series, but realise we must have missed the second series completely. Nice easy viewing, and I love the characters. Our tv in the kitchen is several years old, and I discovered today that you can get Dave on it!
