    School Christmas Plays

GS2's school are doing the Christmas play in a different way this year.
No plays at all last Christmas , his first year. This year each year group has its own play.
OH is a sheep in his class nativity play. He is so happy There were two sheep and four children wanting the parts so he was lucky.

DD told me today that she has been given an extra ticket for Wednesday afternoon's performance. I am delighted to be invited . I will miss my library afternoon, but I have done a lot of work there lately and the librarian will understand.

Gem, how lovely. I'm so glad all Christmas activities at school haven't been cancelled. I'm sure GS2 will be the best sheep ever. xxx

        Thanks ladies.

He is so chuffed as this is his ideal role We are wondering if he will put as much character into his part as he does when 'being a dinosaur' at home. His facial expression and roar are quite scary! At least sheep are quiet and peaceful

I'm glad the school are making this possible. His age group started school in the pandemic so nothing has been normal and they have missed a lot.
They are doing Christmas parties for each individual class as well.

Lucky you Gem. I used to love a Christmas performance too. There was always one child every year who stood out and made everyone smile, maybe for very loud tuneless singing or having to be an angel in wellingtons because he forgot to bring plimsolls. 😆
