    Doorstep Carols

Has anyone taken part in this tonight?

Our road did, and our little cul de sac had a good turnout. The carols were broadcast on local radio, and we had a chance for a bit of a chat while the presenter was nattering between songs. It was all properly social distanced and we were lucky the rain had stopped.

Oma, we've never had the Salvation Army around here - I suppose we're too remote - but I always enjoyed listening to them in one of the shopping malls in Southampton.

I'm sure people would have appreciated it.

I think there's another national carol singing session - Christmas Eve, I think, but that needs checking.
