Do you do all the present shopping?

I know several ladies are alone, but for those in couple, do you do all or the majority of the Christmas present shopping, or is it shared between you?

When I was married to my ex OH I did the majority, including his parents, brother and nephews. He did like to get something extra for the girls apart from what I bought and to be fair he always bought me generous and lovely presents.

My present OH would rather do no Christmas shopping, so I do it all. She doesn't buy for any of her friends and gives her two godchildren money. She does buy for her 3 great nephews, but I do usually end up getting involved even in that.
She was happy this year that I just pointed her to the link of a thumb ring that I want from Pandora. I have had a few thumb rings over the years and every one I have had has go lost eventually so I will try to hang on to this one!

I do it all, unless it's something like ferocious electric tools for one of the DSs. Over the years OH has given me some wonderful presents, though, so I think he's just happy to sit back and let me do it.

We discuss what to buy,but it's usually me that makes a final decision.

I do a lot of online surveys and choose Amazon vouchers for payment, so that paid for all the presents.
Also included cash in some presents and hubby gives me the money for that.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

We share it all , we decide together and then B will order on line if need too or we go to the shop together ,
We have always agreed on whatever we are buying I cant remember a time we disagreed on a gift choice ,

He is good at gifts now but years ago when the children were small I received some weird and wonder gifts from him , like a Lawn mower for Christmas

I do it all but this year I suggested that OH help with writing out the Christmas cards.
That was a big mistake, what with all the " shall I put your name first , is it happy Christmas or Merry Christmas, do I put any kisses on the card " kerfuffle, it was quicker to do them all myself.

We used to decide how much we where spending together and I would go and do the shopping,John would rather help with the wrapping which I hate doing for a man he could really make a parcel look delightful .

Glamm - how lovely to hear J did a lovely job on the wrapping. My OH usually does the wrapping. He gets the job done, but without a great deal of finesse - and I write the labels.

                  In answer to the question.....yes!!!

Took OH shopping and he bought me my present. No doubt he'll get DD to wrap it and I must remember to look surprised and delighted on Christmas Day!

OH worked away for so long, that it was easier for me to do the choosing and buying than wait for him to be back home.

There was a time when we'd do all the Christmas shopping one Saturday - the whole lot, and it was before online shopping. OH used to come with me mainly to carry everything, and take things back to the car when we couldn't carry any more, plus stand in the queue to get served for something to eat!
