I have ordered a tree from a local farm and we'll pick it up later this week. Our tree always went up on 11th December ( DD's birthday) and she used to go and choose it with her Dad. Quite a few houses round our way looking very festive.
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

WeeGranny - I know this is the wrong thread, but I've been wondering how your menfolk are. xx

I put my Christmas decs up today. A bit early for me, but I am enjoying seeing other people’s decs, so I decided to join in.

Lots of houses round Here have lights and trees up. It does look lovely and I’ve enjoyed walking around looking at them. Think I’ll get mine up soon. 🎄

It does brighten things up doesn't It Enfys, especially on wet gloomy days.
We have noticed a lot of outdoor lights lit which wouldn't normally be on yet.

I couldn’t face the thought of putting up our usual big tree so have compromised and took a smaller silver one out of the loft. It’s prelit and decorated so all I have to do is put it on the stand. That and a few fairy lights and candles will be it for this year, oh and the wreath on the front door. Really couldn’t face any more but feel I wanted to do something. It looks very pretty in the bay window.

Enfys - your decorations sound very pretty. I'm pleased that's what you've decided to do. Sending hugs. xxx
