    Christmas shopping online this year?

    Look away Daisy....

Considering local lockdown restrictions, having to wear masks to shop, and the risks of being in shops, will you be shopping online this Christmas?
I know Nan2 has almost finished hers

I do a lot of my Christmas shopping online anyway, but intend to do all of it that way this year. I can still shop local for some things, as we have the loveliest little independent shop in the village who will deliver.

Yes, I’ve done most of my mine online this year. I would prefer to go to Manchester and go into the nice stores and the Christmas markets but can’t do that this year and the markets have been cancelled. Oh well this time next year 🤞🤞🤞🤞

I love the markets as well. All that lovely mulled wine! Such a shame.

Have you still got your eyes shut Daisy? I have just bought my first Christmas present, not like me really. I saw something that I thought my GS1's wife might like. It was two padded coat hangers covered in fabric from the Wallace collection. The others send me suggestions of what they would like. I have three birthdays before Christmas. I would like a new cover for my IPad, mine is getting very shabby.

Yes Gem, i had quite a few deliveries last week.
Birthday presents were also bought online. That was for GD1 whose birthday was at the end of September.
GD2 will be 18 next month and we got her presents online.
DS2's partner will be 50 on the 1st of December. Rang DS2 a few days ago to see if he knew what perfume she likes.
Apparantely she likes Ghost Sweetheart, so that will be one of her birthday presents.

I have bought most of mine online,I started in June when I saw a sale on in Dunelm for character quilt covers for my 2 x great grand children they are both in "big beds" now where has the time gone ? I have bought them books on line also to go into their xmas boxes so everything sorted for them,I am undecided what to get for youngest granddaughter (sons baby) she is 3 in May and as an only grandchild on her mummy's side she wants for nothing so I am stuck for idea's I hate to ask her mummy as she always goes OTT and doesn't think of the cost !! so I will just keep looking. All the other grandchildren will be so glad of money in an envelope and smellys so they are easy.

Daisy , you know the face masks we have to wear, get a clean one and pop it over your eyes, you don't want to see what this lot are getting up to

Mimi - I hope you are sitting down to read this post!! I ordered a new USB charger for my phone yesterday and accidentally (aided by the sneaky way a certain online supplier sets out their stall) signed up to a month's free trial for an enhanced account, which quite frankly I do not want or need. But as it's free postage I might as well make a start on presents before the 'free trial' expires!!

I was very cross with myself though!!

They are sneaky and you have to actively avoid taking it, which isn't fair.
Good if it gets Daisy Christmas shopping though!

That company, we all know who it is, caught me again. I ticked the scheduled delivery but as the item arrived the next day, I presume I am now paying a fee. My GS said it is worth paying the fee because there are other perks, not sure they are what I need. I also think you are open to scammers. I had a phone call, from a person with a very strong accent saying someone was using my account in California etc. I told the caller I was not a member and put the phone down.
