    Carols from Kings

I presume this has been broadcast, but I've just found it on iPlayer - it's 'backstage' to celebrate the Centenary.

I presumed it would be on television tomorrow evening.

The actual service is on Christmas Eve, Plant (I presume!), but this is a documentary about the choristers and the lives - a peek behind the scenes of all the hard work that goes into various services.

I enjoyed it Nanto. It was mainly centred on the young choristers but also showed some of the other choir work the Scholars do.

When OH worked at King’s College we got tickets for the recording. It kind of lost the magic because some carols had to be sung more than once because the sound wasn’t quite right! It was still an amazing afternoon.

WeeGranny - I should think it's still an amazing experience. In the programme is says they've now got more sophisticated mics and can switch from one to another to get much closer to the fantastic acoustics in the choir.
