The latest news is that 'the powers that be' don't want to use schools for the election venues, as it could disrupt the Christmas Nativities etc. At last sense prevails in politics. Didn't think I'd ever say that.

Our voting station is the Salvation Army Citadel even though we have a perfectly suitable village hall with parking. I'm sure suitable venues can easily be found and take away using schools.Believe you can and you're halfway there.

WeeGranny - you'd think so wouldn't you! We're lucky enough to have a very large village hall with plenty of parking and an in-out route through it. I think there are enough rooms not to disrupt activities like playgroups, bridge clubs, exercise classes etc."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "
