Cat and toddler proof Christmas tree!

Would you fancy a tree like this?!

Hahaha you may as well get a wall tree or a small one to put on top of a surface
A cat will just jump up to that and a child would hang on to it and either pull it over or shake it
Im not fat just 6ft too small

So true Oma, and they cost as much as a full size one!

People have been posting photos of their Christmas trees on Facebook.
Someone has got one of those. Another one has an upside down tree.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

          Words fail me.

What self-respecting cat wouldn't be up that pole in 5 seconds flat!

            So true Daisy

I have had cats all my life and always had a real tree, with no real problems. They may bat the odd low bauble but that's it. Our 3 cats have seen so many Christmas trees that they totally ignore them now!

Many years ago, in my last home we came home to a 6 foot tree lying on the floor lights and decorations all over the place.. We had 2 young cats who liked to chase each other about and on this occasion the chase involved the Christmas!!
From then on we tied some fishing wire around the tree, and my then OH fastened a hook to the window frame and we attached the wire to that. That stopped them knocking it over

Gem - what a good idea. I bet the cats didn't even look guilty.
