    Daisy, don't read this.

I received an email this morning from my WI craft group to a Christmas Card making morning. How can anyone get interested in making Christmas cards in this heat and I read that Selfridges are opening their Christmas shop!!!

I know those who make their own cards have started on the Christmas cards already.
      My friend included.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

I suppose if they make a lot they have to start early Nan2.

I’ve had a couple of gift catalogues already.

On a similar note, advertising of “ Back to School” items seems to start earlier each year, often before the children have actually broken up.

Clover, my pet hate has always been Back to School adverts before the poor children (and teachers!) have even broken up.

Last week we had our invitation to a Christmas meal from P’s bowls club. I know they have to make their booking early but it was a bit of a shock.

When we went out for a pub lunch last week they were advertising their Christmas lunches!! Book early for Christmas.......how early is early?

Our favourite eatery is already booked up for Christmas Day lunch.

We were trying to book an extended family Christmas lunch this time last year and really struggled to find anywhere.

Grauntie - at last! A lady after my own heart.

That event shouldn't even be mentioned until the 1st December - and that's still very early in my book!!!!!
