    Eye creams

If you use an eye cream, which do you recommend? Also please to tell us of any you would not recommend as well!

I use a good moisturiser daily but haven't used specific eye cream for some time. I am at the age now when I need to!
I particularly want it to firm that skin above your eyes. I know miracles cannot be performed but it may help!
Several years ago I used a very good eye gel for a couple of years but I can't remember which one it was.

Gem - I don't know if there are creams or gels for specific use on the upper eye lid, but don't use general eye creams there! I mean the ones that are supposed to minimise line, dark circles etc, because they work by the skin absorbing moisture from them plumping the under eye skin up. If you use it on the upper lids they will just look swollen and puffy.

I use Garnier but if I wake up and my eyes are puffy I use Boots Essential Cucumber Gel. I also use the gel when The weather is hot like when I am on holiday just as a cooling agent. It is not expensive. I used to use L’Occitaine but ran out and couldn’t get to the shop so bought Garnier as a stop gap and to be honest, although it is not as luxurious it is every bit as good.
