    Eye liner tattoo

Has anyone had their upper or lower (or both) eyelids tattooed? I like some under eye eye liner, in smoky grey not a black defined line. I find it ends up just a large grey circle under my eyes however so have stopped wearing any.

Yesterday my ex husbands wife (LOL) was telling me that she had her upper and lower lids tattooed, just above and below the lashes. I'm not so bothered about the upper ones but would like the lower ones doing. It looks good!
She said it lasts a couple of years. It doesn't hurt at all, and you keep your eyes closed throughout. However once whatever they use to numb the area wears off she said it was very tender, but was fine the following day.
    I am seriously considering this.
    Any experience anyone?

I would love to have more definition around my eyes as my lashes are very blonde natually like my hair (even though I use a bottle of magic to keep it blonde) but my eye area is very sensitive I have to be careful even which mascara I use or my eyelids will swell up so I would be frightened to try the tattoo method,I certainly wouldn't try around the lips to much of a coward.

I did wonder about eyebrows but I am too wrinkly now. I have never used eyeliner.

Havent considered this but I am going to have my eyelashes dyed when I have my hand op , if they are ok I will consider having them done on a regular basis as my shakey hands make it difficult to get mascara on without smudging ,

I used to love wearing my thick eyeliner with "flick ups" when I was younger, haven't worn it for ages now but would be too much of a coward to think about a tattoo 😱

                Qwerty, a beauty salon!
Ex husbands wife has her eyebrows done too, but I would like mine less dark, not darker, so no need for me to have those done!

Oma, OH occasionally has her eyelashes dyed (I wish she had them done more often!) She is very fair, as you know.

I have my eyelashes dyed when we go on holiday but not too sure about tattoos around my eyes. What if the are uneven and you are stuck with them? Perhaps I have trust issues?

Good point Shem! If I had it I would only go the the person my friend had, as she can recommend her!

I sometimes have my eye lashes dyed for holidays even though I don't wear mascara very often. I use a very soft kohl pencil for lower eye lids and would love them tattooed, but I'm far too much of a coward! 😢😢😢

My DIL has her own beauty salon and this is one of the treatments she has been offering for about 5 years now. I have had my eyebrows tattooed but not the liner, it is something I may do now my eyesight is a bit dodgy! It is quite expensive and will probably need topping up after a few years, but definitely something worth having done I think.

It is expensive Avo, especially for someone like me who has her hair trimmed for £10 at home, and colours her own hair!
As it lasts a couple of years I would consider it though.

I think it will last longer than that. My eyebrows lasted about 4 years I think. I th n had them topped up.
