    Cosmetic Surgery

    Would you have it?
Face lift, lips, botox (for lines not the type Qwerty and Glamma have for medical reasons!) Tummy tuck, liposuction., etc etc..

Iv'e had it done. I had my eyelids done about 12/13 years ago, in Cyprus.
One of the best things i have done. We sent some photos by email to the surgeon and he rang up a few days later.
He told me i could have it done in Manchester when he was in this country, but we decided to combine it with a holiday.
We flew out on the Sunday, had the job done on the Monday. Went for a check up on the Wednesday, and stitches out on Friday.
He gave me a letter for customs in case i needed it, but i didn't.
All in, with the cost of the holiday it was about 4k, but both me and hubby think it was worth every penny.

I always said I would have my upper eye lids done if I could afford it ,
Due to Meningitis and a mini stroke many years ago I have no muscle control in my left eye and its hard to fully open so I have a droopy eye ,
My EX Sister in law has just had a boob reduction and tummy tuck she's happy with it, my other SIL also had a boob reduction when she lost a lot of weight but now back to the weight she was so a waste of time ,
Not sure I would put myself through it though
Im not fat just 6ft too small

I got a tummy tuck when I had a mastectomy! I had a reconstruction using my own fat from my stomach area. A D shape was cut away so the skin went as well. I wasn't fat in the first place so my stomach has stayed flat. The down side is my navel was re-sited and is now a little hole.

It would be nice to knock a few years off here and there - but I'm an out and out coward!

I'm a coward too Daisy, and would never put myself through unnecessary surgery.
If I were to have anything done, it would be that eyelid thing that Oma had I think.

My OH had a breast reduction couple of years after her mastectomy, to reduce her breast to the size of the reconstructed one.(on the NHS, as this is part of the service offered to mastectomy patients) I would have opted to have the false one match the real one, but she wanted them smaller!
Sadly for her, due to weight gain since then the reduced boob is once again bigger than the falsie and she is uneven. She's living with it now though!

If anything I'd like my upper eyelids 'done' too. Not for beauty reasons but to be able to see better. Go on try it ...you know you want to 😉 Open your eyes really wide & see how much better you can see.
Jowels are common in our family. I wouldn't want injections that prevent you from being able to smile tho'. 😆

I would love to get rid of some wrinkles on my face but It just couldn't stop there! Nothing else would match. Crepey neck and so on down the body. I'll have to stick to the Basildon face lift. (High ponytail) 🙄😆

I would like it Gem I haven't had it done if I had I would be asking for a refund hahaha
GM your right nothing else would match , you can always tell by the neck and hands cant you ,
Mind you that's another thing your hands , I have always creamed my hands daily all my life but from a young age I have had old looking hands , my mother had beautiful soft skin till the day she died quite smooth for her age but she had old hands too when she was young , nothing you can do with them is there , although if you lived in likes of LA I'm sure they can do hand lifts

When i had my eyelids done in Cyprus, it was a local anesthetic. I also had my lower eyelids done.
Took 80 minutes altogether. If my upper eyelids were ever as bad as the y were before,i wouldn't hesitate to have the surgery again.

Had enough essential surgery/procedures so definitely wouldn't want any more! If a magic wand was available I would probably get my upper eye lids sorted.

I am to much of a coward to have face/boob lift of any kind it takes me all my courage to have the other end sorted when necessary.
