    Bras

I was looking at bras in M& S today , when I worked I had every colour under the sun to go with every outfit but when I retired I started just buying white, black and nude this last time just cream and black. How long do you hang onto your bras I have less not bosom ! but less choice these days but buy more often I suppose because I only have a couple they soon get scruffy how often do you buy new bras ?

If I could find a bra that stays comfortable all day it would be bliss. I am only going to buy white bras and pants now.

Me too! I have been fitted in M&S and Debs and neither was successful. I buy on line now in white, black and nude and they last quite well. ( good job as they are expensive). I would love a really pretty bra that fits.

I always buy Nude they go under everything , but lately ive started Wearing Genie bras you know the ones from JML that look like a sports bra , they are so comfy and come with Pads you can keep in or take out , .I only tend to wear proper bras if I'm going anywhere special otherwise my Genie bra is my first choice , I bought them in Black , White and Nude but find the nude is the ones I wear most so bought extra of that colour , I'm a 34DD and they support me fine ,
Im not fat just 6ft too small

I wear, black white and nude mostly, but also have a navy, a lilac and 2 pale blue.
I like underwired, after all those babies and breastfeeding LOL, but I had to stop wearing them after surgery and bought some non wired. I started again but then had to totally stop after the radiotherapy soreness and wear crop tops. Fine but too hot, as they cover more!
I can now wear underwired again, but find them uncomfortable to wear for long, which I think is just because I have now got used to non wired!

I can't really say how often I buy them Qwerty, when I have had to throw a couple that have given up the ghost away I suppose

I bought quite a few new bra's last year. i was so fed up of only having black, white and nude, so i bought quite a few coloured ones.
When i get dressed in the morning, the colour of my top, denotes what colour bra i wear.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Qwerty you spurred me on to investigate my underwear drawer Consequently I'm just had a severe cull of bras and pants. Only hope I don't regret it. I too now favour nude bras and as I wear a lot of T-shirts I like the non-lacey type to give a smoother outline.

I prefer underwired bras as they seem to stay in place better but recently I bought some non-wired and I keep having to adjust them in private.

I don't know how often I replace mine, either. If (and it's a big 'if') I find a comfortable one - that means I can wear it all day without giving it a thought - I immediately go back to the same shop and buy several more in the same style and size. I find the size can vary with the bra, so I always try them on.

I have been measured in M&S a couple of times - and the tape measure lied! I just go by how they look and feel when I try them now.

I've never gone in for lots of colours because I know there'd be a day when I wanted to wear a white top and there'd only be, say, a bright green bra in my undies drawer!! I've got a couple of nude, but mainly wear white or black.
