I bought an eyebrow pencil thing with brush on other end from John Lewis click and collect. I get it tomorrow. Wish me luck with the experimenting. Don't want to look like Groucho Marx

I couldn't get my eyebrows and top lip threaded today so I found a nice young lady on YouTube who showed me how to do it myself. It's not as difficult as it looks, though I will have to practise a bit for a perfect result. 😐Women are like tea bags; you never know how strong they are until they are put in hot water.

I've not had it done recently, (because my eyes aren't right still after cataract surgery) but I normally have electrolysis on my upper lip & @ the same time have my eyebrows shaped. Then I have my eyebrows & eyelashes tinted. I tried threading once on my top lip & found it hurt too much so came out with half a hair free upper lip. I don't think the girl did it right.😱"Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

It is a painful process Nana. 😭
Went for appointment, new product was like a mascara with a tiny brush. No use for sparse eyebrows.The assistant was bolder with the pencil and highlighter than I usually am and it does look better. She gave me a free mascara so I was very happy.Women are like tea bags; you never know how strong they are until they are put in hot water.

Where I get my eyebrows threaded is at the top of our shopping centre so I wait till I have finished shopping pop in have them done then straight to car as I always end up with red patches around my eyebrows I look like a clown only lasts about 15 mind but I'm not shopping with eyes like that
it does sting a little but only for seconds , never plucked my eyebrows till couple years ago and I started to get the odd stray one and they are like steel wire very thick and tough and now I'm also getting the odd grey one
