What do you wear when it's hot?

With the temperature up in the high 20s it set me wondering what does everyone wear around the house and garden when it's this hot.

Today I wore a very light cotton t-shirt with a v-neck and little cap sleeves and thin cotton crop trousers. I realised I don't have any shorts so ordered a pair online despite the fact that by the time they arrive there will probably be snow on the ground!

I tend to wear a dress if its really hot rather than trousers
When we went to Martins on Saturday I wore white cotton trousers that were so cool and a cotton sleeveless top ,

I don't own any sort of T-shirts I never feel right in them .

I have been getting changed into my cotton swing shoe string strap tops and PJ bottoms very early on a night as they are cooler and at any opportunity the Bra has come off

All I can say is "lucky you"!!! I have the support tights and sleeves and that makes it HOT!

I don't have the legs for shorts, so wear lightweight cropped trousers . I have lot of T shirts and sleeveless and short sleeved tops. OH wears shorts whenever it is hot.
When its really hot I find loose dresses to be the coolest. At DD's yesterday I noticed both DDs, myself and SIL's mum were wearing dresses. The men, OH and GD in shorts (GS in his swimming things as he was in and out of the paddling pool all day!)

Definitely not shorts. I have a couple of T shirt type dresses. I am usually in lightweight trousers and t shirt.

No shorts for me. Usually cotton t shirts and cropped trousers although today I am wearing a long baggy cotton dress, Not very flattering but so cool.

No shorts for me, have tried them, but never feel comfortable.
I just tend to wear summer weight skirts and tops.

I bought three very cheap thin cotton dresses with shirring elastic to the bodice (no bra needed) and very floaty. The fabrics are very pretty and people often comment on them. Unfortunately I can’t find the company I bought them from!

Shem - I've been looking for light, floaty dresses for several weeks and haven't found what I wanted. I've ordered a couple of cotton short dresses today and will wait and see what they're like. It's frustrating for you that you can't remember where you bought those dresses.

They came up on my Facebook page quite randomly. If I come across them i’ll post on here. Just spotted the one I am wearing is inside out! Bad luck to change!

At the moment I have a shirring waist dress on with no underwear, well there is nobody else around.
