    T shirts

I am in need of some t shirts this year my others are looking decidedly tired looking, when I buy a new t shirt I usually buy half a dozen in different colours how difficult is that. Now I have to make sure the sleeves are elbow length the top of my arms are not great, then the length they don't all cover my derry air, then is there plenty of room for my well endowed top half how can this job be so difficult ?

It just is Qwerty I'm an apple shape and my arms are not good, and although the good news is I am sticking to a rigid diet now and losing weight, (after seeing some recent photos)

However much weight I eventually loose (PLEASE) I still think having T shirts that are too short or cap sleeved can accentuate the parts I want hidden We need longer lengths which cover the stomach and tops of thighs, and derry airs too!

When I was slim, I used to just buy M&S half a doz T shirts a year but they do me no favours now. I have various websites with clothes for the larger lady, 14 + .....but quite often their quality is not as good as M&S.

I try to go for tunics now, it's the only sensible option for me!

Admission: my son bought me a tee shirt which says

      I'M SILENTLY COREECTING YOUR GRAMMAR

      And another which says

DONT MAKE ME USE MY TEACHER VOICE

      I haven't worn them yet.....

I was annoyed last yr when M & S changed their T shirt design. The cut was really different. I too used to get a selection of colours. Since I've put weight on I need to find new tops. Elisi, where do you get tunic tops from? Qwerty, glad you began this thread. My DDs fella designs & prints T shirts but won't let me have any because it's not the image he wants for his brand. He's right tho'😀

Here are some Marmar, then there is SIMPLYBE and FASHIONWORLD, but to be honest, some of the quality is suspect so you have to be careful and I always wait for the sales unless I need something urgently for a bit of a do!

Kaleidoscope has some lovely pieces and I am not usually upset by the quality but they tend to be expensive.

There is good old Cotton Traders for basics which also have some great tunics and they are good quality and well priced.

Simply Be is, I think, the same as Marisota which is where I buy the majority of my clothes. Minnystring I would love those tee shirts ........ Smiley face

Oh and I have to tell you that I have had two bad delivery experiences with Kaleidoscope and I think Fifty Plus is also Marisota and Simply Be as well. I find the quality for the most part of Marisota to be quite good.

I've really struggled to find t-shirts this year. I bought one in M&S - same style as a couple I got last year, just a different colour, and one in Next. Land's End has always been my go-to place for basic t-shirts but they've got very expensive (£30 for a t-shirt!!! I'd want it gold-plated for that!) and a couple I had last year weren't such good quality. It shouldn't be this hard, and I'm not even that fussy - short sleeves are fine, if people don't like my wrinkly bat wings, don't look! and a standard length is usually ok, but so many are badly made, flimsy, clingy or dreary or neon colours.

I was thinking to trying Cotton Traders so any feedback on them would be great.

I haven't bought tee shirts from CT but have bought polos, chinos and deck shoes for husband and can say they have excellent delivery and customer service. Cannot fault them. The one time I had a problem their reaction was instant and the conclusion very satisfactory.

I have had quite a few new tops this year, from Marisota,Fifty Plus and Bonmarche. I usually get M&S t shirts, but decided to I wanted something a bit different.Someone suggested Cotton Traders, but I haven't got round to looking on there yet.

We recommend Cotton Traders Daisy, especially men's clothes. OH has never been disappointed and always looks smart. They wash well too. Ladies clothes can be excellent and also a tiny bit old fashioned. I bought a brilliant coat from them years ago which is still stylish and washes well, plus lots of tops.

Maritosa and SB plus FW etc., are all JD Williams products. I have honestly had to return so many of the clothes I stopped ordering! I quite like the basics of leggings and bras though. Honestly I found the jersey tops bobbled after one wash and even if m&s can't provide me with longer length t shirts I would rather buy from them as they don't shrink, don't bobble and are much cheaper, therefore better value if only wearing round the old house! 💃

I've been with kaleidoscope for 14 years and never had a problem with delivery and I do like the pizz zazz of their clothes which take you a step out of the ordinary 💄👡👒
