    How is your hair?

Are you looking a bit unkempt, or are you managing?
Bad timing for us, in that we were going a couple of weeks longer between cuts than normal, so that we could have it done before our holiday. Our appointment was today.
The hairdresser was reluctant to come. I don't blame her as you are only supposed to travel to work if it is essential and hairs cuts are not!
We told her we would manage for a few more weeks. So, my hair is longer than it has been for many a year.
At least I have long hair, OH doesn't and is almost at the stage of needing one of those clips to hold it back!
I colour my own hair, and it will be due in week or so really. I have none in so it depends what I can get as to whether I go more grey!

I was supposed to go next week, the hairdresser phoned and said she hoped to start again on April 6th, which I doubt, mine is short so just getting a bit longer, I was reading in the news that people are trying to cut their families hair, also a run on hair dye.

Awful! I was on the verge of deciding to try a different hairdresser as I haven’t been happy with the last few cuts. However, last week she had to close, so many people were cancelling so now it looks as though I will be growing it! It’s a mess, but in the great scheme of things I will put up with it.

Hair not good, my home hairdresser for over 30 years had broken her arm badly so the last time I had it cut it was another home hairdresser. Not so happy with it, I expect I will be snipping a few bits off it.

Mine is short and still manageable at the moment . But as we can't go out I'm ok with it no one but B will see it anyway .
My DD had her hair dyed Grey from Jet Black she said she's starting to look like a tabby cat grey bits of Black and a few lighter bits she's wearing one of those scarfs that tie at the top like during the war

I have only recently had mine done, but as I colour it (grey - yes I know lots of you colour it the other way!) I will get darkish roots coming through in the next few weeks! In the great scheme of things it doesn’t really matter. I’ve even cut down on the days I wear makeup, unheard of normally! 🤣

Our hairdresser is/was due in the middle of April. She comes every 6 weeks.
I am always ready for her coming, but hubby can go a bit longer than me.

Avo - I put make-up on today to walk the dog - just for the fun of it!

Since I've grown my hair I only get a trim about every 3 months, and it's due in a couple of weeks, but I really don't mind if the hairdressers is still closed, as I expect it will be. It just gets longer but doesn't look any different. I have to hack at my fringe between cuts anyway, so nothing new there, and I don't colour it so that's ok, too.

If it was short I'd be climbing the wall if I couldn't get it done every 6 weeks.

Oma - it's good to give your skin a rest from make-up. Your skin's probably going "whooppee, she's not getting the powder and paint out"

Not so much time in front of the mirror viewing the wrinkles for me.

Like Avo I have dark roots and grey ends! I have some colour here but I can’t see the point of wasting it! Same with make-up. I have been a complete slob this week as I have been gardening. OH is growing his hair and beard just to see how long it gets. I think he will look like Old Father Time. 😆

It’s a bit difficult to get your hair cut if you maintain a 2 metre distance. I suppose the hairdresser could use long handled garden shears. That’s what I’m going to need on my fringe soon.

Sunshine, I love it! I need to hack some off my fringe as well!
