Two good buys!

I haven't needed to buy a lot for my upcoming holiday.
I bought a few new tops and a summer dress in the end of summer sale. I have enough cut offs, linen trousers, and swimwear. We have a washer and dryer at the villa, so don't need tons of stuff.
I do need new prescription sunglasses and will see to that in the next week or so.

However I lost my very handy and versatile black cut offs. I looked for them all last summer and never found them, so I must have left them somewhere the year before I suppose. I miss them as they go with any tops.
I have been looking for more for weeks now. None to be had, or they were 100% man made fabrics, far too hot and sticky for Florida.
Doing another browse last night, Asda now have some linen blend black cut offs in my size, and only £10! I have ordered a pair Click and Collect.

I will wear my Crocs and flip flops in the parks. I hate my feet being hot so don't wear trainers over there. These days I can only wear very good supportive flip flops if I have to walk far. I reserve the flimsier ones for poolside, or at home in the garden on summer days. I have some fantastic ones from M&S. I got them 2 summers ago and have more or less lived in them for 2 summers. I tried to buy another pair last year, but they had none in my size anywhere.
I bought some Sketchers flip flops, which I will take, but they just don't seem as perfect as the M&S ones.
Looking online today they are in M&S again! I have ordered a pair Click and Collect.
Both stores are in the same area, and I have arranged pick up for both on Monday.

Gem - they were meant for you - both the cut offs and the flip flops. Comfort is really important when it's hot and you're on your feet for hours on end. I'd be quite tempted to get an extra pair while you can.

If i'm looking for any new clothes while out with hubby, he always says don't go to M&S.e hates their clothes for women.
He thinks they look frumpy and dowdy.

So pleased you found your flip flops Gems I also have a favourite pair of sketchers flip flops which I bought in a sale for Las Vegas 4 yrs ago and they where a godsend with cut offs and long linen skirts,I must dig them out before summer time.
I buy my cut off from Bon Marche they fit well and I was devastated when a closure was announced for our local store but after talking to the lady in my local store have been informed that they are staying open now so that's a relief to say the least,all I need this year are a couple of 3/4 length sleeved t-shirts if I can find any in good cotton I have looked in Next but none to be found.
