    Favourite clothes

Looking through my wardrobe this morning , I realised some of my blouses I have had for a long time and really should be changing them ,
Trouble is I have several favourites that im reluctant to get rid of ,
Some are only fit for wearing around the house to be honest but they are so comfy ,

I have one its a thick navy check cotton I call my no bra blouse , I wear this if im not going out and I know I can leave my Bra off and no one would know

I must make a effort after xmas and do some shopping and make myself throw the old blouses out
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma I am the same , I have several clothes that I wear around the house but wouldn’t be seen out and about in . They are so comfortable but they look rather worn and faded.
I have wonderful, soft thick jumpers but I cannot wear them indoors as they make me so flipping hot and to be honest I need something that if I splash bleach on it , it won’t be the end of the world.

Well in the summer it would have to be my jeans. I too have clothes I wear if I am not going out or gardening. I have a cashmere jumper on atm, I do feel the cold. I very rarely wear blouses, mainly light weight tops in the summer. I do have a top that I go to very oftem and it is looking very sad now.

Love the 'no bra blouse' Oma. I don't wear a bra at home unless someone's coming round. It's now uncomfortable with this blummin hernia. I have what I call my 'slobs' to wear around the house... T-shirt & tracky-type bottoms. The ones without the gathered bottoms.

I need new winter clothes but hate clothes shopping, (moan moan)😉🤣

I have clothes that i wear just for the round the house.
Some items of clothing are just so comfortable.

Its like that one Bra that you have finally broke in when its only fit for the dust bin but you hang on to it because the others are so uncomfy

I have a wardrobe full of clothes but just seem to wear the same things over and over. Like most of us I also have older things to wear around the house, but so comfy, and a few favourite jumpers for when I go out out! Hate wearing a bra too, half the time I don’t bother when indoors. A friend recommended some soft sports type bras that she’d got from Amazon. I bought some too and they are so comfy. Don’t know what they’d be like if you were well endowed as there’s not much support, but I find them fine. Comfort all the way now.......I’m Definately turning into my mother 🙂

Like Enfys I seem to wear a small collection of my clothes over and over again.

I've got a part of my wardrobe where I hang my "comfy" clothes so I can go straight to them of a morning if I decide I am staying indoors and not expecting anyone,if someone does call unexpectedly I can always tell a white lie and say they are my cleaning clothes .
During the winter I will always wear jeggings or leggings with elasticated waist as I always feel plumper during the winter I like a loose jumper to wear with them or a chambray shirt I have a couple of those and they are good standbys.

I live in jeans most of the time....unless I'm going somewhere that needs smarter clothes. I tend to pick the same thing to wear and every so often I try something different e.g. cords instead of denim, but I always seem to revert to the old favourites. I think I've finally stopped looking at clothes suitable for work after ?? years of retirement!

I've got 4 pairs of very comfy jeans - they only differ in age and shabbiness and I wear them most days unless it's very hot in the summer. It depends where I'm going - I'd wear them to say go and collect the GDs and dog, but not to go shopping.

I like cotton t-shirts and have very few things that are 'smart'.

I wear a lot of Joules clothes, I love their harbour tops, which I wear with cashmere cardigans and jeans/jeggings for everyday wear. I’ve just bought a knee length navy cord skirt from Debenhams and I’ll wear it with thick tights and a jumper.Suitable for lots of occasions. I also love Romans Originals and have several winter dresses from them again with thick tights.

Avo - I'd love to try a cashmere cardigan, but I'm allergic to lamb's wool, even 10% is enough to bring me out in a rash, and it seems a bit risky to invest in an expensive cashmere piece and then find I can't wear it. It always looks so cosy and soft, and beautiful colours, too.

If I have to wear tights I like thick ones. Delicate 10 denier ones don't last 5 minutes on me.

I've just had a look on Romans Originals website and they have some really pretty dresses and tops - and there's a branch in Southampton.

Oma - I hadn't even heard of them, but I'll definitely pop in there next time I go shopping.
