    Make up

Is it a age thing or just me !!
Lately I haven't felt inclined to put Make up on every day ,
One time I wouldn't go out the front door without full slap on , but I don't feel the need sometimes or im just getting lazy ,
This morning I have been to pick up a parcel and to Matalan and all I put on was Mascara and a dab of lipstick,

Some days especially if we not going anywhere I just don't bother , I think its because its dark and dreary and I feel tired all the time I just cant be bothered
Think im in a lazy rut
Im not fat just 6ft too small

I don't always bother either, especially if I wear my glasses to help disguise the bags!!!

Do whatever you are comfortable with.
Those that mind, don’t matter and those that matter don’t mind!

My niece and great niece (age 6) were coming to visit recently. My niece was getting ready, doing her hair, make up, etc. Her daughter (my great niece) was getting impatient, wanting to come over to my house to play. She said to my niece. “Mummy, you don’t have to look glamorous ALL the time. We are only going to see Auntie.” Out of the mouths of babes!

I don’t always wear make up. But I do seem to be waer8ng it less these days.

Oma, I think it’s partly laziness, and partly it doesn’t make enough difference to matter! 😨😀

I only wear make-up if I am going out, I don't know who I am trying to impress.

I only wear make up if I am going out, I don’t see the need when it’s only OH and the cat who will see me !

Funny enough I seem to have given up on make up , used to be I would hardly step out the door without full Slap ! now I feel it doesn't look right , maybe I need a new brand or something . I used to wear a tinted moisturiser , but even it looks too heavy

Aggie, I think you may be right. We should change our make up from time to time. Our skin tone changes anyway and I find foundation I used to wear now looks too heavy. Have you thought about going to one of those nice make up counters in a department store and asking to try some different products? If you find something you like you could add it to your Christmas list. xx

I used to love wearing make up especially eye make up but now I find I use it less and less. My eyes seem to be more sensitive these days so I have to be careful with what I use. A couple of years ago I went to our local Boots and a lovely girl gave me a make over. We found that the colour I had been using was now too dark for me so I now use a fair foundation rather than a medium. It was all very nice but rather too much to wear all the time so usually it’s just a small amount of foundation to cover up any blemishes and some lippy and a tiny bit of eyeshadow.
