What type of slippers do you wear?

For years I wore slip on mule style slippers.
I then changed to a ballerina style. I also have some of those warm boot style ones which are popular. I only wear these when it is really cold, but they are so cosy when it is very cold!
My favourite ballerina slippers are blue with a black cat on the front. I bought them from the designer outlet years ago. They lasted well, now they are consigned to near the back door, as my going out to the garage and bin slippers!
The ones I bought last year were very cheap from Tesco or Sainsbury's and need replacing now.

I don't really like anything on my feet but I do have flip flops , and if they do get cold I wear socks

I always buy this style. Don't like flat ones,or flat shoes,they make my legs ache.

Because I wear slippers to death I treat myself to Glerups. They are Danish and made from felted wool with a calf skin sole. Very cosy.

I don't wear slippers, it is either bare feet or a sandal wich I can't get anymore, I used to wear scholls but darent risk those now. I keep a pair of clogs by the door to go outside. Might try your grelups Grauntie, they are quite expensivel

Plant, they last me at least a year before I have to stitch them in a few places. (Back of sole to upper generally) As they are made from felted wool they can be washed if necessary.

I am very heavy on slippers and buy a couple of pairs at a time I buy from Tu at Sainsbury's the flat open toed ones I always keep the tatty ones outside the back door for trips to the freezer kept in the shed I always buy ones that I can wash.

Gosh Plant don’t you get cold feet in the winter mine do even with central heating on, I likes yours GM but the price does put me off , must admit I bought some ballerina ones a year ago and I’ve just thrown them out, having said that I didn’t wear them from May till maybe October this year wear my fit flops but tootsies feeling cold now, I also feel I need a bit of support in my arches so liked Nantos from Pavers , I didn’t buy my slippers from anywhere else but M&S the moccasin type , I have worn mule type slippers but I have fallen downstairs in them caught the heel on the step , it’s such s dilemma ladies what to get

I haven't worn slippers regularly since I discovered Crocs (with socks in the winter - not very elegant!) I have a pair of mule type ones (Tu) for going away since they take little or no room up and I don't like walking round hotel rooms in bare feet. I've got a pair of boot style ones, but the soles are very flimsy and make my feet ache.

But I think this year I shall treat myself to something warm and cosy - those Pavers look good, Nanto, and I prefer no backs.

I have just looked at slippers in our local shoe shop, have ordered from their other shop a pair of leather slippers that look like shoes.
