I saw a magnolia tree with buds just starrting to open, on my walk from the station to DD's house 🙂

We passed a garden this morning with two enormous magnolia trees all in full bloom. What a sight 🌺

Today I introduced my twins to dumplings, they come for tea most Wednesdays so today I did beef casserole and dumplings , dil doesn’t like them so she doesn’t cook them but M had four 🤭 J only managed one though 😬

Oooooo dumplings. Yummy with a beef casserole. I had forgotten about dumplings, not something I’ve made for a long time. Must change that!

Love dumplings. I must confess....I’ve on,y made them once, when we were first married. Had no idea what I was doing and made them far too big, out them in the casserole but they grew and grew so,when it came out of the oven it was. I thing but dried up meat and huge, and I mean HUGE, dumplings. It was horrendous, put me off making them ever since 😱
